aditional services

Non Destructive Testing(NDT)

NDT stands for Non-Destructive Testing. It refers to an array of inspection methods that allow inspectors to evaluate and collect data about a material, system, or component without permanently altering it. NDT may also be called: NDE (non-destructive examination or evaluation).

Burst Testing

Burst testing is conducted by introducing air (or other gas) into the package at a controlled rate, maintaining the internal pressure for a specific length of time, and inspecting for material failure. The entire package is subjected to uniform stress and failure generally reveals the weakest point.

ultrasonic testing

Ultrasonic testing (UT) comprises a range of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques that send ultrasonic waves through an object or material. These high frequency sound waves are transmitted into materials to characterize the material or for flaw detecting.

ultrasonic thickness gauging

An ultrasonic thickness gauge works by precisely measuring how long it takes for a sound pulse that has been generated by a small probe called an ultrasonic transducer to travel through a test piece and reflect back from the inside surface or far wall.

Magnetic Particle testing

Magnetic particle Inspection (MPI) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) process for detecting surface and shallow subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and some of their alloys. The process puts a magnetic field into the part.

dye/liquid penetrant testing

Dye penetrant inspection (DP), also called liquid penetrate inspection (LPI) or penetrant testing (PT), is a widely applied and low-cost inspection method used to detect any surface-connected discontinuities such as cracks from fatigue, quenching, and grinding, as well as fractures, porosity, incomplete fusion, and flaws in joints.

PMI Testing

Positive material identification (PMI) is used to analyze and identify material grade and alloy composition for quality and safety control. A rapid, non-destructive method, positive material identification is performed on a wide range of components and assets, and provides a semi-quantitative chemical analysis.
